The Symptoms of dry eye disease

Although the symptoms of dry eye disease are common, many people don’t realise they have the disease, and it goes untreated, which can lead to visual discomfort and may affect vision.

Dry eye disease occurs when there is not enough moisture in the eye, leading to eye irritation, and even vision problems. It affects people of all ages, but you are more likely to have it if you are over 50 or look at a computer screen for an extended period.

Do you suffer from any of the following symptoms?

  • Soreness or grittiness in the eyes, which becomes worse as the day goes on
  • Itchy eyes
  • Redness in the eyes
  • Sensitive to light
  • Sticky eyelids, especially in the morning
  • Blurry vision
  • Eyes become watery

If you recognise any of these symptoms, please get in touch with us – we can help.

Using our specialist non-evasive state-of-the-art equipment, we can help eliminate your dry eye symptoms and help you achieve comfortable vision.
